Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year.  Hands down. No question.
Here are a few of my top reasons why:

• 5 days off from work/school
• no added stress centered around gift purchasing
• Thanksgiving Day Chili at Mom & Dad's
• All the other fringe benefits that come along with a typical holiday: sleeping in, getting away from the "real world", good food, & etcetera
• Thanksgiving is much less commercialized than the other "holiday" that the box stores have been promoting since before Halloween.
• Spending time with family and friends

On that last note, here's a picture from last night's get together with the Cokers and Sammons.  We went to Kobe and had a fun time.  The chef tossed broccoli into our waiting mouths and also gave us saki shots from a squeeze bottle.  Pretty entertaining!  Below is the "Love Boat" that Jeff and I split.  Yummy, yummy, sushi in my tummy!
