Folder of Fun: Pages 18-21

The Folder of Fun, as I like to call it, has been in the works for about three years. That's about the time I stopped buying retail and hobby packs and began tracking down cards which fit a certain general description: FUN.  Here's a link to the first post in this series if you'd like to go back and catch up.

For the next four pages I'm just going to lump together all of the mascots. I believe all of the ones shown are currently active, save Junction Jack. Well, I'm not so sure about the Rally Monkey, but the card is from 2017 so I figure there's a good chance Mr. Monkey is still exciting fans out in Los Angeles. Here are pages 18-21, sorted by divisions, showing off MLB's mascots.

I believe the only current mascot not represented here is Lou Seal, of the San Francisco Giants. I would also love to add cards of the racing sausages in Milwaukee and the pierogies of Pittsburgh. They're not exactly mascots so to speak, but I do enjoy watching them along with the racing presidents, who have already been shown early in the Folder of Fun

If you have extras of any of the above, especially Lou Seal, please give me a shout!

Thanks for stopping by today/

  1. Love this folder! Confused as to what the White Sox mascot is...

  2. If you need another one of Paws (Tigers) from 2020 Opening Day, I’ve pulled 3 of them.

  3. I still don't get why the Diamondbacks mascot is a cat. Their team name is an animal, for goodness sake! (Although I guess a snake slithering around the ballpark might freak some people out.)

  4. The mascots are easily my favorite thing about Topps Opening Day every single year.

  5. Blue Jay has bird legs! Racing Presidents are among my favorites. There aren't many cards featuring all of them. Where's my Lincoln???
