I'm getting excited too! Thankfully March Madness will help bridge the gap.
Even though my Tigers are barely recognizable this year, I'm ready for Opening Day! The off-season wouldn't be so hard if I enjoyed other sports even just a little bit.
Matthew's right. March Madness isn't too bad. I don't follow college hoops anymore, but anyone can fill out a bracket and cheer for an upset or Cinderella. That being said, the Bears were horrible this season, and I've been waiting for spring training for what seems like an eternity.
I'm with Julie. I can make it through when there is football to watch, and NASCAR isn't so bad, but I don't like basketball anymore--did you ever really listen to the squeeeeeky shoes--and I never could even see the puck during hockey games. Baseball can't get back to our TV fast enough! Let's hope the Cubbies are over 500 by the all-star break. In other words, let's skip the slow start and get right into posting "W"s. Right, Tom?
Yes, bring on the "W"s!
