So, let's just stick with something real here.
I have been searching for this card for two years without any luck so I pounced when it showed up on Ebay the other day.
If you're unfamiliar with the Five Star brand, it's a high end product that comes with a price tag around $130 per box with only two cards per box. Imagine the cost of opening opening boxes looking for a certain player! Yikes! Thank goodness for the secondary market.
In all, I have tracked down my six different Five Star parallel cards for about fifty bucks total. I guess it helps that The VOGELMONSTER is not a household name . . . yet.

DeleteDidn't realize how annoying April Fool's Day was until hearing my 8th graders tell each other silly lies all day followed by "April Fools". The good news is I have 365 days to forget about it until the cycle repeats itself.

ReplyDeleteAlways nice to knock off those low numbers. I always put 1/1's greyed out on my lists. I don't seek them out but if I come across one I might try for it but have never won.
