I registered the redemption on June 25th with Topps and right before I was going to leave to run errands yesterday the FedEx truck stopped in front of the house. I'm glad I didn't miss the delivery, because Topps requires a signature on redemptions.
Boy, was I ever giddy ripping into the cardboard envelope!
Oooooooh! A packing slip and bubbles to pop later on!
And there he is! My first and only Kris Bryant autograph for my collection.
I'll have to jail break it out from that annoying Topps sticker and find a nice thick case to put it in. From what I can tell it looks pristine, which makes me very happy. :)
The back is nice as well, but what I like the most doesn't even relate to Kris Bryant or the Cubs.
So, that's my redemption card. Twenty days seems pretty quick, no?
That is a great looking card. I'm glad a Cubs fan like you got it instead of someone who will just flip it on eBay!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. Like Tony, I'm glad you got it. Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteLightning fast redemption and I agree with Tony and Matt - this card found the right owner!
ReplyDeleteThat is one nice card.
ReplyDeleteGlad the group break paid off! I'm also happy to see that Topps has upped their redemption game, 20 days is certainly doable!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beaut! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteSuhweet! Congrats for sure.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a stunning card. Really happy for ya, Tom! Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteAmazing card. And glad to hear you got your redemption back so quickly.
ReplyDeleteYou are most deserving! I can't believe the turn-around by Topps.
