I had fun watching the pelicans fly around the river between innings. You're right, the ball park has a gorgeous view!P-town Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07437348006643978055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3084101267740946056.post-89827166104890491522013-10-07T15:32:42.416-05:002013-10-07T15:32:42.416-05:00I grew up in Davenport, Iowa, back when the Quad-C...I grew up in Davenport, Iowa, back when the Quad-Cities were the Angels low-A affiliate. It was pretty cool when they became the Quad City River Bandits, but totally blew when they became "The Swing of the Quad Cities," with their teal colors. They have since returned to the River Bandits mascot (Thank Goodness). If you ever get a chance to see a game there, by all means do so. If you sit on the 3B side, you get a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. When the casino boats used to sail on the river, they'd play their calliope's after going under the Centenniel bridge. Great memories. Thank you.Comatoadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13586730611415248483noreply@blogger.com
